yes I think it's obvious that Kala is her masterpiece. But as for being 'the album that came after the masterpiece', I think Maya is everything it should have been. It's always interesting to see how an artist responds to universal acclaim. M.I.A. decided to completely overhaul her whole style -- courageous.
