the album is literally about being so autistic and so ugly that its impossible to get laid, of course its going to be cringe at times, thats what makes it fantastic

Never listened to Violent Femmes before. Should I check them out? My friend said they're kinda folk-punky, and I've never heard a folk-punk band with a female vocalist before.
