He has done something interesting. Alternative/experimental guitar with hip-hop beats. From a musical and creative standpoint, this is very bold and impressive. I think he's getting a bunch of hate because he's not rapping, and many rap fanatics aren't fans of this type of music. I come from a very indie background and am actually bumping to this album. I'm listening to adventures right now and its so fuckin good. Jesus, I think it will grow on all of you. He's no longer a rapper, he's an artist.

Back then the shit he used to put out was very relatable in the sense that it was just some high young dude spacing out and trying to think and feel his way through his day to day and staying positive. Back then Yeezy said he was his favorite artist.
Now he's on some spiritual high horse and he has been for a while, there was a time when I had a lot of hope for where Kid Cudi was headed but even once he came out with WZRD I gave that up, honestly one of the artists that fell off the hardest for me.
I won't be surprised if Scaruffi gives it an 8/10
