It tends to clog up threads, and I just remember when requests just weren't part of the vocabulary of sharethreads, which were more about introducing each other to new things than about receiving things you already know you want (especially since most requests could be fulfilled in a few seconds on slsk).

Honestly, it's okay, but I think these guys need to leave djent behind entirely; they seem to have potential, but being stuck in a nonexistent "genre" built around chugga-chugga wank and (as of late) gay-ass clean vocals isn't good for anyone. The fact that djent's gone mainstream (through the awful Nothing More) only shows how stale and devoid of potential it is; it might as well be the oncoming return of nu metal. It's definitely changed from what Meshuggah started, which wasn't amazing to start with.
