What people here seem to misunderstand is that unlike the Jews, Christians have a fulfillment of the Old Testament law through the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. In the Old Testament (and in nearly every pagan religion too for much of history), a blood sacrifice was required as the payment for one breaking God's laws.
But when God became man and gave up his own blood as the payment for ALL of mankind's sins, the Old Testament law was fulfilled. However, there are several places in the New Testament that condemn homosexual ACTS, not attraction to the opposite sex. It may be impossible for someone to not be attracted to the same sex because of genes or their environment, but they are expected to have some self-control and abstain from sex with the same gender, just as unmarried people are expected to refrain as well.
