I've had amazing discussions in other generals, and well as threads with other reoccurring themes. I don't think so. The the occurrence of times I've had good discussion in this general leads me to believe it's not a very rare thing. This general has the potential to be great, and that sometimes shines through, but people often choose to shitpost instead.

Yes, that's correct. I understand the word "opinion" refers to the completely subjective (This album sucks/is great.), and not the objective (This album uses distortion guitars)... But...
