I love shoegaze but I feel like as a genre it's not gone anywhere. I like and listen to a lot of shoegaze but past JAMC, MBV and Spacemen 3 you don't even really need to listen to anyone else.

That is true, it's also MBV's fault I think. They set too high of a standard with Loveless, fucking butchered the whole genre. I love heavier stuff though, ever heard of Whitenoisesuperstar? You should give it a listen
