The only rappers from the past few years that are considered "lyrical" that I like at all are Jay electronica, danny brown, action bronson and odd future is alright. a lot of recent alternative rap is really bad too. I was a big fan of def jux but death grips, shabazz palaces, clipping etc don't do anything for me. I'm much more of a street rap fan nowadays
