How do you think Shellac and Big Black compare? I've always prefered Shellac because I don't really enjoy the drum machine on Big Black records. Albini makes more sense to me with an actual kit. Rapeman are pretty good as well.

Lorca is easily the worst album to intro into. Do Happy/Sad if you come from a more folk backround and Starsailor if you have a better handle on avantgarde and don't lose patience easily.
