The year is nearly over, /mu/tants. Time to recap all of the albums that fell short of meeting your expectations.
I guess the marketing premise was to have the perfect pop song be the single and then fuck up everything on the final release, including the single itself. Thanks a lot, Claire.

Mew is one of my favorite bands and this album is really good but their progression up to this point was gradually more proggy and I was expecting that for this so it's poppyness threw me for a loop

I didn't have my hopes too high when Dan said he was taking it really easy for making this album.

This desu. The Yabba was a grower, and I've been expecting the same for the rest of the album... It's just not happening.
man i love the cold vein, was hyped for blade of the ronin, at first i liked it then after the first listen i realised it was pretty piss poor all round
