>>60669065
No
>>60669102
>Not lily rosemary and the jack of hearts
>Just Like A Woman
>worse than anything on the third side
>>60669148
Most likely you'll go your way and i'll go mine and obviously five believers are my favorite songs you fcking cunt
thick as a brick part 1
>>60669065
I've always liked more the live version on the Concert for Bangladesh
If this is a Dylan thread then I must say desolation row is awful
>>60669204
Let's say it is a Dylan thread, then I must say, fuck you buddy.
>>60669204
>desolation row is awful
>>60669204
Highway 61 Revisited is easily the worst of his 60s albums besides s/t.
>>60669230
>>60669204
>>60669230
It sounds like shit compared to blonde blonde blonde but freewheelin' is extremely overrated/unimaginative
Part IV
>>60669204
Oh lord.
Why do you all like desolation row so much? I mean jesus fuck dude. Allusion after allusion after allusion after allusion after allusion after allusion after allusion after allusion after allusion after allusion after allusion after allusion after allusion after allusion after allusion after allusion after allusion after allusion after allusion after wow bob you sure know a lot of characters lmao. This song didn't need to be more than 10 fucking minutes long
The Way Young Lovers Do
>>60669204
>desolation row is awful
Secret Girl
Not counting Bubblegum, of course. EVOL really is a record that's best on vinyl.
>that locked groove
the best ending
I dunno they all fit so perfectly
I guess Sirocco maybe
>>60669439
>anything other than Ballerina
How
It's so obviously the weak link
Not including Loomer I would have to say Blown a Wish. Not an easy choice tho.
who cares
probs she loves me that way
>>60669102
>literally the best song on the album
>>60669556
>loomer
>blown a wish
what the fuck are you doing
What the fuck was he thinking with "I'm Glad"? He wasn't even all the way crazy yet.
neighborhood bully
>>60669856
Never thought I'd see another anon who likes Infidels on rym. Definitely one of his underrated non-canon albums.
>>60669547
this is seriously your favorite album? i mean it's definitely not bad but i never saw it as favorite material. that's interesting
>>60669065
Lover's Rock
>>60669135
>disliking the best song on that album
>>60669226
this
>>60669230
>>60669230
>>60669230
yep, you're a real patrician bud. I am so jealous of your superior understanding of music. Real fucking impressive mate. My opinion of you is so high you wouldn't believe.
>>60669198
among his top 10 performances, easily
it's so good
>Kasimir S. Pulaski Day
The intro is actually great, but the rest of the song is rubbish.
>>60669556
Loomer is my 2nd favourite track, but Blown a Wish is definitely my least favourite.
The Murder Mystery
>>60671549
>WHAT ARE YOU TRYING TO PROVE
fuck no
>>60669556
Blown A Wish is also incredible screw off
Touched is the worst song only by virtue of being an interlude and a minute long
>>60669556
Loomer is the second best track
>>60669703
Im Glad is the best song though
>>60669065
>disliking any song on Blonde on Blonde
Not a single good opinion happening in this thread.
>john wayne gacy jr
i do not want to start thinking about child molesters/murderers while listening to indie folk
>>60671742
>>60671549
I actually meant Touched. Loomer is scrumptious.
>>60672051
Plus this song sounds like Sufjan reading the Wikipedia article for John Wayne Gacy.
>>60669230
agree, doesn't make it bad album tho
>>60672051
>>60672084
it's the best song he's ever written
>>60672174
nah
>>60669204
>desolation row is awful
I mean it isn't Idiot Wind levels of great, but seriously kid
>Across the Universe
>>60672174
you are not correct
I Want to Tell You
Search for delicious
Hey Jude
>>60672238
nah nah nah nah
Twice as Hard is by far their weakest closing track ever
Acrobat, just not as interesting as the other tracks on the album
It's still a 10/10 though
>>60671662
Pleb as fuck senpai.
Drone
>>60669204
that really triggered me
>>60672238
overrated song that would be a lot better if it were 4 minutes shorter
>>60672277
I never see this discussed here on /mu/, it's an amazing album. Love the style and songwriting. They're one of the few bands who exploded with an album, changed styles, and came back to be just as good or bigger than before. It's impossibly hard to do it.
All Up the Seething Coast
Good to Go.
Modern World
>>60672433
I always dig Jerry Harrison's (of future Talking Heads fame) hair. Looks like Pauly Shore and Stephen Perkins on Jane's Addiction
California. It's the only song that sounds like hippie pandering.
But I feel terrible for even saying that; This album touches my soul
>>60672301
>muh avant-garde
>muh John Cale
worst song on their best album
On the original (with this cover), Barely Legal.
On the American version (with the other cover), When It Started
>>60672484
Mom?
>>60669065
I his vocal performance on these lines
>Queen Mary, she's my friend.
>Yes I believe I'll go see her again.
Also
>I can't stay in here.
>Ain't it clear...
>That I just can't fit.
>Yes I believe it's time for us to quit.
The "just...can't...fit" line is so perfect there. The preceding lines are almost completely syncopated and build up to a climax, and then release into the "just can't fit" line which lays right on the beats.
>>60672634
I love his*
>>60671662
Literally the strongest song on the album.
>>60672423
I actually like the melody to Good to Go even if the lyrics are his worst.
Satellite is my least favorite. No matter how many times I listen to it, I get nothing out of it. I don't know why.
Isle of the Cheetah - Too long and too slow. Doesn't really build to anything.
>>60672423
>Good t Go
>not Coming Up Roses
C'mon senpai
US Mill
>>60669065
>Just Like a Woman
>Not great
Holy fucking shit kill yourself you filthy faggot like right now grab a rope or something just do it quickly you're an embarrassment to all multi cellular life forms
Maps
>>60669687
Personally I'd say Mary, On the Wall. Something about the squeeking at the start ruins it for me.
>>60672051
I like that song. But I can see where you're coming from.
>>60672423
Really? That's one of my favorites. I'd have to say Biggest Lie. It just doesn't work as a closer.
>>60673363
>not coming up roses
That one of my favorite songs ever :(
No bad songs on this album but Cherub drags on a bit
>>60671549
saw something go wrong today
We Better Talk This Over
>>60669964

>>60671666
Satan has terrible taste in music. Holy shit.
You faggots don't actually sell your soul to this dumbass do you?
>Fall of 82
even though I love it, I don't love it as much as the rest
>>60673988
Oh, man, that guitar line is one of my highlights of that album. It reminds me of something that would be on s/t.
Shake Your Hips
