I wouldn't say I collect them because it's not like stamps or whatever, but yes, when I find some music I like, I'll buy it on CD.

i buy cds sometimes if I want a phsycial copy & the thing I want isnt out ors too expensive on vinyl
also cds are supercheap now I got a bunch of jazz on cd a while back for a couple of squids per cd when a shop had all their blue note cds on sale

I'd collect records if they werent such a rip off in the UK.

if i find an album i like or havent heard of i'll buy it depending on price
or if one of my favorite albums is being rereleased in sacd or something gimmicky like that (like my ELP stuff)
