You and some other anons here just don't get the idea of the thread. Posercore, I suppose, is a term for music. which some people try at the moment they decide they have became advanced fans of something, though they did not even listened to anything in the genre. They pick something brainsy, something legendary, something non-obvious (for a such person) - and many of this type think the same and choose the same albums. This is the OP's idea fully-fledged as I understand it.
