vaporwave morphed into some weird territory where it doesn't even sound like vaporwave. it's like more ambient and spaced out
desu i am not really into what is being passed off as vaporwave today, I don't get the same vibe. i mean it sounds good to an extent but in the end i feel it's just something else entirely. Also the dream catalogue label has a few decent releases but i don't understand why they get so much praise. must be good at marketing because all their tapes sell in a heartbeat, some of it is utter trash. i bet if i ironically made a piece of shit release with them, people will 5/5 no hesitation
