I think we're going to be in for a very interesting year as far as music is concerned. There's this three piece from England that has that Eric person from The Yardbirds, who re-interpret the blues like nobody's business. I think they're called Milk, or something.

I think The Beatles are on the verge of breaking up. I mean last year's tour was filled with complications, what with people in the south burning their albums because of something John Lennon said about God in England, and the didn't really seem to enjoy playing for their fans. And what's up w/that Strawberry Fields movie they did? Everybody I know hates that song, and didn't they look weird with all that hair and moustaches and beards? I think The Beatles are finished.

Anybody going out to California this June for the big music festival in Monterey? I heard The Beatles might actually play there.
I just came back from L.A. and there's this band that combines the best elements of jazz music and rock and roll, and let me tell you they are totally out of sight! The lead singer wears these tight leather pants and jumps around all over the stage and screams like a mad man. They are totally confrontational, and will mess with your reality. I think they're called The Doors of Perception or something like that. Definitely different than what's going on in San Francisco, that's for sure.
