Is this a real Stradivarius? Found it in a house I bought in Scotland.
It says Anno 1713 in it.

yes
Any ideas?
What makes you think it could be real? Thanks for the input though.
Can't you like just google how to identify the value of a violin? There's gotta be some guidelines. I wouldn't know. I'm not entirely confident that what I'm looking at even is a violin because I'm a retard.

Take a clear picture of the whole label you dunce
>>60582747
possible but extremely unlikely.
ill give you $100 for it
I will post more pictures when I get home in about 1.5 hours.
It has "Made in..." in it. I will get that clarified when I get home. Does it help to determine whether it might be a fake or not?

I dont know anything about violins but the typeface on that label is not consistent with an early C18th origin (its more typical of the late 19th or early 20th), leading me to think its fake

probably Czechoslovakia, goes about 100 bucks apparently (but OP's looks like it's in quite bad shape so probably worth nothing)
My bad.
It was "Mad in Czechoslovakia" instead. 100% sure.
>>60582747
No.
Ok thanks guys. Just gonna bin it.
>>60583291
Take it to someone just to be sure.
>>60583291
don't do that you retard. have someone look at it just to be sure instead of listening to what people on an anonymous message board are saying
>>60583264
I'd be mad too if I were a fucking czech lmao
i cannot reply to you since you are now haunted
you must throw the instrument as soon as possible
cremonen model was famously used in rituals by poznan witches
it has since destroyed many people's lives including those who only listened to its sounds
