Is it bad that I torrent all my music /mu/?
>>60550744
torrenting hurts the artists
every seed is a tear
>>60550783
Can it be justified for instance, a major artist like Jay-Z or Taylor swift who get 1+ Million for doing stadium shows?
Hello, Mr. Director? Yeah, we got 'em. Send in the helicopters.
>>60550824
>jay-z and taylor swift
lol
I'm usually broke but when I have extra money, I only buy shit I like from smaller artists who don't get the luxury of touring outside their local scene.
If I like a band that much and they already tour, then I'll either end up seeing them or buying their merch anyway.

You're a big guy.
Yes, purchase all my music from licensed vendors and record companies
>>60551568
Tell me about OP!
Why does he torrent the music?
Last album I bought was literally this, when it came out.
>>60550824
First of all it's those artists that get you fucked with copyright infringement the fastest(or at all). Second, they're shit so why even download them.
>>60551612
He's probably wondering why you would sue a man for more money than he has
>>60551741
If I won that lawsuit, would you die?
>>60551828
It would be very painful.

If an artist is already dead, is morally right to share his stuff over the internet. Right?
>that's it guys. only listen to dead people
>>60550744
I love this album
"Says Elliott" is one of my favorite songs :)
>>60552000
Not if his/her materials are under someone else.
>>60552092
>morally
>>60551480
its worth mentioning that almost all the money from an album goes to the label. most big labels only pay their artists a fraction of a percent
>>60552000
thank god most artists od young right
There is nothing morally wrong with torrenting music. Anyone who tells you otherwise is stuck in the musical business practices of last century. Free digital information and priced physical objects is exactly how it should be.
