This is a short film/music video for "Blackstar", the title track from his newest album, which will be released in January on his 69th birthday.
At ten minutes (And three minutes before anything of real note happens) it's on the self-indulgent side, kind of reminds me of the expansive jams on Station to Station actually, but I like it. It'll be nice for Bowie to actually be interesting again.
I think it's a great song. And I'm glad he's getting weird again, I thought his last few albums were a little boring.
