Checkout the Shabazz EPs and Lil Ugly's Uneven Compromise if you haven't already.
Also, Blowout Comb because Black Up is basically a sequel to it production-wise. Good taste aside from the dubstep.

Also what do you think of Big Fun/Criss-Cross? Haven't checked either of em out
>>
>>
>>60505637
Monk is a tough guy to put on a chart because most of his albums are miscellaneous recordings of the standards he wrote decades before. The exceptions are Criss-Cross and Brilliant Corners, the former of which I think is more Monk and less of other people.

Big Fun is great simply because it contains three of the best tracks from the Bitches Brew sessions that never made it on the album: Great Expectations, Lonely Fire, Orange Lady. On top of that, Go Ahead John is an absolutely killer recording.

pretty sure I already reccd you Boris based off of Earth 2, but ya
>>
>>60506614
Honestly, I've never been super into prog rock, so that's why those are the only King Crimson albums on my chart. Which is the best of theirs from the 70s?

Also, thanks, I'll check the Amon Duul album out, it's been on my list for a while now.
>>
>>60506749
I think Lark's Tongues in Aspic is overall a better album, but Red has Starless which is one of the greatest songs of all time. Im also not really into prog, but these albums dont suffer from sounding really stereotypically "proggy" like for example ELP's Tarkus. I would start with Lark's Tongues though
>>

SPK - Leichenschrei
Josephine Foster - Blood Rushing (Based off of some of your freak folk and a few other stuff)

I have trouble giving decent recs because I only keep music on my computer that I consider 6-7/10 and up, which is usually what I look at for recs
>>
tfw shit taste
>>
>>60509377
sometimes I dip into albums I consider a 5 or even a 4/10 to rec if I think that the person I'm giving the rec to would appreciate it more than I do

a site like RateYourMusic would be useful to you if you delete the stuff you don't like, since you can rate that stuff there and look it up later without having to keep it on your computer
