i get that it's ambient, but track 2 is mixed way to quietly. i felt like i was missing out on a lot of the track because of how little i was able to make out at points. cranking it up all the way reveals a lot of very orchestrated and actually quite festive layers of synths. love the xylos. i felt like there could have been more connection between track 2 and the more structured tracks that surround it like on track 4. they give off the same general vibe, but there was a definite disconnect from the other tracks. i'd push the ambient piece to the end of the record after recordings of wars.

Thanks for the input! Getting the mixing right is something I seriously struggle with and figuring out the order I wanted to put the tracks in took some time to get what I thought was right. I wasn't sure where to put track 2 because of its length and feel but I thought that by placing it (which is spacey and improvisational) between the two shorter and more rigidly composed tracks and ending with one that is a sort of mix of the two worlds. I can certainly understand where you come from. I'll certainly work on the mixing though.

I could like this but i don't find the vocals pleasant to listen to. the production is brilliant but i find this too... obvious? have you heard of Floex? i'm certain that if you could stick to his style of making tracks (it's quite similar already), it would work out better. the 2nd track is stellar tho. you're definitely talented

hey, I like your new album more. I dislike the ending of "Greed" because the synths sound really cheap. but "Olympus Mons" is glorious and everyobdy here should listen to this track because it really is beautiful. also, DLing your album (but please, find a better sounding piano, this is a huge disadvantage)

Thanks for the reply. I think the synths you're referring to are actually violins that I kinda of badly fucked around with. Should have left 'em pure in hindsight. Piano is a mixture of real and non real, I sometimes have the use of a nice Yamaha and sometimes have to make do without! Cheers for the feedback

Maybe it's because I've been awake for more than 24 hours, but that stuff is pretty nice. especially since it doesn't fall into the bad habit of electronic music, which means it isn't highly repetitive like a lot of the stuff out there. I like it.

Hey, thank you for your feedback! Yeah, being ambient music a genre in which is easy to be repetitive I always do my best to combinate ideas with different sounds, to give each song its own identity. This is probably done best in my album (The Disintegration Project), because my EP analyzes one of the eight "worlds" in the album (take a look at its third track). I liked some of your pic related btw
