His whole artistic persona is a mess.He spits meaningless verses with nothing to say, substitutes lyricism for lazy namedropping and generally just doesn't have a fucking clue about what artistic direction he wants to take himself.

Curry hasn't dropped anything near the level of BLVKLVND RADIO and NASA the Mixtape.
Denzel has been trying to portray himself as this 'ultrahard' trap beat inspired stonecold hardass, which just clearly isn't who he is. He's a guy who grew up watching anime and cartoon network, and the real curry seeps through making his persona come off entirely fabricated, like he's just trying to hop on an angle cause it's hot. I always think of Mystical Virus 3 when I think of Curry and how LUM's verse blew him out of the water on his own track cause LUM has a clear artistic vision and it really highlights how lacking Curry is in that department. Denzel's style is just trying to string lines together until his verse is long enough to call it a wrap.
SGP has some deficiencies with his own rapping, but he manages to come off as genuine at least, he's a tendsetter, not a wave-rider like Curry.

When it's as boldfaced as when Curry does it, it's obnoxious. It's more than just image, I'm talking about his content. He lacks a creative direction and he's trying to ride a bandwagon in lieu of having any genuine ideas of his own to create.
He's hardly underrated.
