i understand what you mean, i don't like a lot of punk at all either. the vocals take only a tiny bit of getting used to though, compared to other punk bands at least. yea tho you don't gotta finish it but maybe revisit it later in time.
also, know that fugazi are pioneers and they're the absolute roots of the post-hardcore you're familiar with yourself.
