I understand a lot of the hate he gets now, but he's one of the few modern popular artists that I think we will look back on fondly. Say what you want about his music, but his influence on hip hop can't be denied. He didn't completely invent any of the experimentations on Yeezus or MBDTF, but he brought it to a commercial fanbase which was what popular artists used to do.
