honestly as a classical/jazz fan TMR is the only essential rock album, there are other good ones but TMR is the only great thing to ever come out of rock.

this, to an extent that it made the listeners struggle with their own "common sense" regarding music, that is, their own inner frames of reference to what music should sound like. Suren it doesn't get the amount of spotlight like TMR over the years, because it didn't go beyond as being seen as "drugged out nonsensical jam sessions by a couple of junkies" by many, which sucks, considering the efforts behind it.
