I've found that post hardcore is a very general term
For example bands like Alexisonfire and suffocate for fuck sake are both considered post hardcore but they sound almost completely different

This album is amazing, though
Early post-hardcore is good. Shellac, Fugazi, Polvo, Bitch Magnet, etc. Anything post-At The Drive In is where shit really started to go wrong.
