TDK ST-550. Picked them up at a Ross's (discount store, I don't know if it's national). They're nothing fancy, but they are super durable and have way better sound than I would expect.

on a good amp design (low distortion, not otl, not single ended class a - pretty much the opposite of what the tube fags are doing) tubes won't wear out for decades

Just do it, they're great. Excellent, tight, well rounded bass, great mids, detailed highs and a fantastic soundstage. They work brilliantly with pretty much any type of music.
Coupled with a V-moda Boompro mic, they also beat the pants off of any gaming headset out there. Add a Mixamp with Dolby Headphone in to the mix and they're unstoppable.
The 600ohm version. Wanted the 250ohm version but this was the only one they had and they were on sale
