Agreed. In that way he's one of the very few "vaporwave" artists doing stuff in the same vein as Farside Virtual. Beyond the abstract idea and aesthetic, that album seems to really have almost nothing to do with Vaporwave.

Personally I don't think so, it doesn't really fit in with what vaporwave has become, but it certainly takes from the same influences that a lot of vaporwave built from. I'd say the albums closest to this one are Far Side Virtual and R+7, both of which are not strictly vaporwave, but make use of the same imagery.

you know, at this point I would almost argue that Far Side Virtual (but not R+7) actually is vaporwave. Though at the time when people first started saying that it wasn't vaporwave, it was true, because at that point vaporwave was simply echojams with a different name.
