desu I haven't really given Things Fall Apart or How I Got Over a proper listen yet but I just fell in love with the musical eclecticism and how they executed it with a punk approach i.e. as intense and quickly as possible, it really grabbed my attention compared to the others and made Game Theory really stick out in my mind, I can't think of any other album that really compares to it stylistically save for maybe MBDTF
definitely revisiting those other two ASAP now

This is pretty accurate, except Sunday Morning should be at least a 9 and Heroin is, for me, overrated. Not sure about The Black Angel being a 10 but its a good track for sure. Femme Fatale is easily the weakest.

I love Black Angel tbqh. That Viola and Industrial quality combined with Reed's lyrics makes it a stand out track for me. Sunday Morning is great but I'd say objectively a less interesting track. Brilliant opener though.

i don't think you understand how scaling works. an album rating isn't the arithmetic average of it's song ratings...an album's quality can be greater than the sum of it's parts and it's very rare for a full length to have almost all 4+ songs on it.
similarly, for example, in fantasy baseball, the 1st place team doesnt necessarily need to lead in ANY categories...a team that's like 3rd or 4th in all will probably win the league

idk you know what i'm getting at...there are a shitload of wonderful songs out there. most of them are the only great track on their respective album. if an artist can assemble several songs that are near perfect, the album is in the 1 percentile and should get a 5 IMO. that's how i rate - i dont think it's that crazy
