One of the more interesting stuff I've heard in BC threads. However the droned out tones and snippets make the overall listening experience feel flat in comparison. The listener finds this as a passport of some kind to a darker side of traveling. Maybe its even hallucinogenic if you will. Passing.

The first track offers a preview into the works that come after it. Through use of concrete beats and sampled soul singing I immediately thought this is going to be a Burial/Ghostek rip off. Fortunately I was wrong. The second track gives us first look into the haunting female vocals who I feel safe to say are the best I ever heard in these BC threads as her soft yet raspy vocal performance at times even overshadow the complex, atmospheric yet almost pop electronic arrangements. I haven't heard the whole album but had a quick listen to the last song. It seems like a finale and it feels like it as well. The emotion portrayed in this particular track is mostly heavy and flows in its dynamic performance both in music and vocals. Definitely downloading!

The first notes are strange. They hit hard but feel mellow. As the vocals enter they give a certain vibe to something I would put as a Halloween style Broadway play but strangely the mellow/hard combo actually start to make sense. The vocals give at times an off-putting tone but present us with the messenger you almost hope to hear. At times it feels drunk, upset and it cradles like a biker on meth but its pleasing in some very strange way. Reccing.

it's not really a real instrument haha, but a casio sa-3 linked with a korg monotron, but i modified the plastic keyboard case with mahogany sides (akin to a minimoog) so i call it the mahonotron since i like wordplay and puns and such
