>mfw i realize it's 24 bit
>tfw you download a double album and when you put it in your music player it lists the songs like
>A1
>B1
>A2

feels good
>tfw you download an album and the titles are written in alphabet
>tfw album displays normally on your music program but your mp3 player splits it up into two different albums because of a minor discrepancy in the tags
>download a FLAC transcode because 196kHz is nonsense
>transcoded from that original 196kHz album
>somehow does not have any fucking tags
>someone couldn't hit the "copy tags" checkbox on their transcoding software
>often enabled by default because software devs aren't assholes
>like what the fuck who would just consciously do this
>put songs on ipod
>touch the screen while the songs play
> downloaded from www.sharefilefuck.com
>>60361194
that's a bad thing. i much prefer to have a single cover.jpg instead of bloating all songs with covers. any decent audio player can pick the cover.jpg anyway.
>TFW YOU DOWNLOAD AN ALBUM AND EVERYTHING IS IN CAPS
>tfw you download an album and the uploader fucks up the track listing and you think that is the actual order
>>60361450
or when the tracks arent ordered at all so they are in alphabetical order by default
>>60361346
I seriously wonder what the fuck is wrong with most media players.
I never appreciated how advance Foobar and Poweramp both were at reading tags until I moved onto MusicBee and GoneMAD/Shuttle+.
>>60361469
Musicbee and shuttle are goat tho
>>60361556
They're great. They just read tags like shit.
Shuttle+ is also sorta buggy. GoneMAD seems more complete at the moment but I have faith that Shuttle will end up being the best.
Musicbee is incredible.

FUCK this happened to me with Jessica Pratt's On Your Own Love Again and it was missing the first fucking song entirely.
I learned the album wrong when I just happened upon the actual track listing and realized I wasn't even listening to the actual album.

>MFW I download an album and delete the last 2 tracks, thinking they are b-sides
>MFW they aren't, but the album is better off without them
>tfw you download the Beatles discography
>tfw it's Microsoft Sam recording of the Scaruffi pasta

This is why you don't use the archive for anything with memes attached to it.
>>60361194
>attaching images to your audio files
I deeply hate your soul.
It's even worse when they attach gigantic PNG files which greatly increase the overall size of the file. Just use folder/cover.jpg and switch to foobar, you filthy degenerate plebs.
>>60361469
>I never appreciated how advance Foobar and Poweramp both were at reading tags until I moved onto MusicBee and GoneMAD/Shuttle+.
ever crossed your mind that YOUR tags are shit? garbage in, garbage out. those programs can't do wonders if your tags are crap.
>>60362736
>It's even worse when they attach gigantic PNG files which greatly increase the overall size of the file.
true. it adds up. sometimes the embeded covers are like 1/2 of the actual file size without them.
>>60362811
But... Foobar and Poweramp can.
>song has embedded artwork
>it's 300x300
>>60364726
maybe they get the tags automatically from the net (a database like musicbrainz). musicbee can do that too but you need to manually start that feature.
>album itself has cover art
>individual songs dont
