I got it and then realized it's a completely conventional shoe gaze album. Pygmalion is the correct choice.
this is an avant-garde experimental rock album of course you won't get it at the first listen. be happy if you get it after 300 listens.

You might not have developed an appreciation for textures. Get into Boards of Canada for a bit and then try listening to Loveless again.
i think i enjoyed it a lot more the second time i listened than the first, but that might be because the first time i listened to the four bonus tracks which i dont really like - not realising they were bonus tracks

Sure, now it is that the genre has become extremely expansive. But back when it was released it was pretty unique and one of the pioneers along with Loveless.
just for a day is so clearly the superior album that i can only assume the rest of you all are actually dumber than me, a really dumb person, to not realize it
