The keys/sounds sound kinda "retro". But it's nice. To be honest I'm not a huge fan of the audio dialogue over the top. It is almost not necessary.
To build up momentum you could layer some more sounds over the top. Introducing the dancier beat was a good change though.

I feel like the sharper-sound synth is too sharp, it could be softened a little. overall it feels a little light, not sure if I can be more specific than that. The vocal tracks feel a little distracting and oddly placed. There's a narrative to follow and in that genre thinking about the lyrics is not really the point (IMO). They're not really used as part of the song either, they just happen once and are gone. I was hoping the samples might be used as a sort of chorus or in some way to add to the feel of the music, but it just feels like you added a scene being acted out over a random part of your edm track.
On the flipside, the track itself is enjoyable and good, the samples are mixed in well. The track ramps up the very mild intensity in a calm controlled manner and left me feeling a bit more happy. It's good music and it's obvious you know what you're doing.
