I'd also like to add that Drizzy is extremely talented despite the controversial topic of his aggressive lyrics and torrent of assaults on the whatcd (whatcuc.ks) staff which ultimately led to him being added to their Do Not Upload list and eventually banning people who attempted to upload his music. Regardless of the adversities he's faced he's still managed to come out on top all while shitting on the wcd staff repeatedly.

There was this band that made guitar based Emo / Weezer-like songs and the record cover was a picture of a store at midnight with lots of bright store lights.

Pretty fucking savage my man. If I'm being honest, songwriting-wise there's nothing overly unique or special about it, but you've pretty much done a somewhat stale genre (modern melodeath) as perfectly as one could ask for. And riffs like the one at 1:00 never fail to give me a dangerous boner. Also the song doesn't overstay its welcome, which is a good thing. Too many clean intros and breakdowns and solos and wind sfx outros in your genre. You cut it all down to just the ass kicking and that's good.
