Being in a band is pretty much making it as an instrumentalist.

Sadly, though I'm a cs major, so I'm not totally focused on bassoon. I am first chair in wind ensemble though. I still have a ways to go to be a great bassoonist. Still in the early advanced portions of Weissenborn stdy. no 12 I think is the one I'm on, and working on Galliard Sonata 1 which is apparently the gateway into advanced studies.
