Just using midi instruments, mainly just drums and synth, I used a xylophone on the first track. then I just screwed around with effects until I felt the tracks were sounding the way I wanted them too, everything I have put up on my bandcamp this year I have sort of used as a learning process.

I actually really love this. I love the Stars of The Lid-esque distant piano sound. I love the pretty atmosphere and soundscapes and the crisp clean production. Tracks 2 and 6 were honestly amazing. "I Don't Know!" is the third and final album in our "classic paintings" album series. The final track "Black Rainbow" can be thought of as a sister-song to "Water & Blood", the first song in the series. i know you're not the guy, but Plesiosauria was groovy as fuck. it does a great job of fusing subtle disco elements into the track. i really liked the tribal aspect as well.
the remix is less expansive, but does a much better job creating a buildup and climax. suprisingly good for a front to back listen.
