Not necessarily a bad thing, but I suppose he could have easily released it under that name instead. The album is still quite solid. It's kind of nice to get something separate from the Amory Wars from them, it has a more raw feel to it though definitely not as heavy as previous albums. So long as they haven't left that behind completely, I'm pleased with this change of pace.

They fell off hard with Year of the Black Rainbow but then had 2 decent albums in the Afterman. OP's album is a pile of shit though.

That's not arcane

Not a bad album, I particularly like Island, Eraser, Here to Mars, and Atlas a lot. The rest are kind of forgettable though and it feels like a vanity project. Quite weak compared to Afterman, but better than Year of the Black Rainbow, that album just sucks aside from like 3 songs.
