why are vinyl rips so hard to find, even those of very known albums? there are literally zero copies of Ben Frost's A U R O R A for example, even on what, and that's not the only one i'd like.

Why do you want vinyl rips?

analog > digital

kinda a fetish of mine. i am perfectly aware this is placebo, but i genuinely enjoy, for example, Ravedeath 1972 vinyl rip a lot more than cd, which i own.

anonymouse 2.0 how are you?

Because vinyl pressing nowadays is from digital, so there is no point to ripping from vinyl.
>>
because it's a helluva lot easier to do a CD/WEB rip than it is to a good vinyl rip

depends on release too, if there's vinyl-exclusive tracks or significant difference in mastering (usually with older albums), someone's more likely to bother to rip it

I had AURORA on vinyl and it was an extremely shitty pressing. Sold it soon after.

You don't want a rip of it, trust me.

>vinyl is better than mp3
>vinyl rip=converting sound into mp3
>mp3 > mp3

>mp3
what is 24bit FLAC
>>
most vinyl mastering is done digitally

why do they let you retarded fuckers on what
>>
I collect records and I'm baffled.
>>

the fuck is the point

Pretty good. Thinking about changing my trip. I like the mouse angle but I want something edgier and adventurous like a pirate mouse or mouseketeer
>>
>listen on vinyl
>listen in FLAC

just pick one
>>
>>55672102
flac is digital
you've converted analog to digital
vinyl rips are always pointless unless the digital mastering for cd/internet release was bumfucked for some reason

Just go into Audacity and add a fucking noise track underneath if you're desperate for "muh crackle". Surface noise only sounds good when the album is designed with that in mind (Gas, for example). Highly digital music like Ben Frost sounds terrible on physical media.
