I don't have a problem with this. It can be hard to properly use pedals when you're wearing shoes, especially on a dark and crowded stage. Sometimes you have to use your toes to control the knobs if you don't have a fancy rig.

No, I'm not saying long songs are bad. A song could be two hours long and if it had enough substance to support that length, I'd sit through the whole thing.
But when a verse-chorus-verse band tries to be more than it is, it's really fucking annoying.
