I don't have a problem with this. It can be hard to properly use pedals when you're wearing shoes, especially on a dark and crowded stage. Sometimes you have to use your toes to control the knobs if you don't have a fancy rig.

Unless they talk about something interesting. The Music Tapes tell stories while they're on tour, and that's kind of cool because it fits with their theme.

Pretty much how every indie top 100 flash-in-the-pan band has a LA-LA-LA or OO-OO-OO hook in their popular singles.

It was cool when Arcade Fire did it but the trend has been done ad-nauseum.

When theres a really clicky drum beat, by that I mean it sounds like they sampled a metronome, theres no acoustic quality to it and I can't ignore it.

When songs are longer than they need to be.

No, I'm not saying long songs are bad. A song could be two hours long and if it had enough substance to support that length, I'd sit through the whole thing.

But when a verse-chorus-verse band tries to be more than it is, it's really fucking annoying.

I'M LOOKING AT YOU, OUGHT. You fucking canadian hacks.

Oh my fucking jesus, the final hit on Vampyre of Time and Memory by Queens of the Stone Age. I love that song, but that shit gets me every time and it is so goddamn annoying.

Reminds me of Reflektor, it should've ended right at 3:50 after the first climax, then it just starts over again with minor changes. Writing long songs is a particular skill, you can't just halfass it and pretend you're being proggy or some shit.

also goddamn cicatriz esp's middle section
