Well, most of the criticism I see is about the midi horns, and the dense production, but I get the feeling that the horns are meant to feel artificial.
I mean he's a damn musician if he wanted actual horns he would have got horn players.
I think the best songs are where he uses the wall-of-sound guitars and xylophones and bagpipes and everything. Black Metal fans are upset that anyone not trve kvlt make black metal, but I like it
