What artists signed on Warp/released music on Warp do you know that are terribly underrated?
Everyone's heard of Aphex Twin and Boards of Canada and Flying Lotus, but there seems to be a lot more artists on there worth checking out.

Prefuse 73
max tundra (who released a neat single for them)
elecktroids (=drexciya side)
broadcast (maybe not underrated tho)
plone (lovely simple upbeat music)

Oh fuck, I love Plone so much. Nice to see them mentioned.
Chris Clark

Eh, he had an album out super recently, though. And he's been advertised pretty heavily, by Warp standards.
Still, I gotta check him out. I heard some snippets from the new record and I found it to be too tame, but maybe I'll like his older stuff?

yeah i love them too. i think good-natured music such as theirs has always been overlooked and it's sad a bit. but it's a pleasure that it exists, especially that great last album they made that was never released.

Yeah, you hit it right on the head. So sad they stopped making music.

One of the most creative artists in the LA rap scene right now. Recommended if you're into Madlib's rough, sample-heavy style.
Im going in. I took out all the BoC/AFX as i already have it.
I just came for nightmares on wax and I'm getting this
deep house gold

He's FlyLo's friend, isn't he? I remember he was on that Cap. Murph mixtape and was featured on his residency at BBC1.

>Oneohtrix Point Never
>underrated
no
>>55203265
Fuck half of those artists I just listed are on Kranky, it's late I'm retarded.
I didn't even read the OP I just saw people listing Warp artists.
>>55203200
Yeah Jae and Flylo collaborate pretty frequently. Jae was also on lotus' Brainfeeder label before Warp.

Body Riddle is his best and also an extremely underrated classic. Like, I people don't give it anywhere near the attention it deserves, in terms of sound design and cohesiveness and scope it's just incredible and just doesn't really sound like any other electronic music from the 2000s.
