Recorded in 1953, but not released on Prestige until 1956, shortly after 25 year old Clifford Brown passed away in a tragic car accident. This is a severely underrated album and I highly recommend it, even if you're not a huge fan of jazz.

I don't really know why this appeals to me, it's literally just improvised fart noises on a synthesizer...but it's so crazy. I have a couple of hardware synths but I really think this showcases the true sonic capabilities of a synthesizer, especially a handmade modular one like Whitman's. I couldn't even come close to creating the textures on this.

I listened to this a lot when I was sick in Guatemala so maybe it sunk in really well but it's still an excellent album.
