Pic related and Borderlands 2. They're both extremely energetic, fun, and upbeat, and you don't really take them too seriously. Whenever I play Borderlands 2 I listen to this album.

pretty good, im only maybe 5 - 6 stages in but im really liking it so far.
the difficulty picks up from the end of the last game so dont expect it to start off THAT easy.
the fact that you play different characters in lots of different settings is something i like. i havent got to play the more interesting characters yet (like the dual smg one) but that will be later.
theres a lot more glass which is annoying imo.
one thing i havent seen yet is bugs, as far as i can see at least. i do think that this game is not as polished as the first.
if you like the first game i would get this no questions asked anyway.

It's a lot more developped than the first one. In terms of story, level design, sound, design, and pretty much everything. I get that you can prefer the minimalistic approach of the first one, but HM 2 is just more ambitious overall. The problems I had with it is like you said, you can't always properly see the enemies that shoot you, the AI is still bugged and I've noticed a few collision problems with the environment.
Apart from that, the game is really cool, and a LOT harder than HM1.

yeah, I agree about the story but I wasn't a big fan of the level design. Sure there were more locations but the levels were to big and there were less opportunities to melee rush. But yeah, it's definitely harder, also somehow hard mode made the game much more fun for me
