auschwitz kreuzkruppe
>>53958521
This kind of exists.
One, shoegaze bands sometimes use plugged acoustic guitars, ran through heavy distortion pedals, for texture.
Two, there's a jazzy (acoustic?) tribute/cover of Loveless. The name eludes me now, but the cover is greenish.

black metal with non screaming female voices like lana del rey
>>53959046
That video is so fucking relevant to everything
>>53958617
not to be too much of a pedant, but if you plug an acoustic instrument into fx pedals and amplifiers, that is definitionally NOT acoustic music
>>53959046
Oh, please Fantango drone, I was just playing off the Grouper comment. She is not shoegaze either. Acoustic shoegaze? I'd say no, but if she is considered acoustic shoegaze, then how the fuck Hecker is not?
>>53959057
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eUy7bl_6YqI
>high quality
>black metal
>>53959060
Black metal is made Black metal because of the screaming
Fuck this is almost as bad as people saying Mount Eeerie have 'Black metal influences' due to the harsh guitar sounds they have
>>53959098
wider audiences loved the loudness and beauty of Sunbather
Im sure an acoustic Black metal album would go down great
>>53959087
>Tim Hecker
>Shoegaze
...wut? at least grouper has voice and instruments and shit
>>53959100
Nah it's made Black Metal because of the intense bitterness and cold anger translated into an abrasive, grating sound.
>>53959141
acoustic shoeggaze would really just be plugging your acoustic guitar into a shitload of effects pedals
Hence the "stare at shoes" name
its normally a sung genre of music
Grouper plays her acoustic straight but often with a lot of reverb on the guitar and her vocals
then she has her drone albums which make use of long droning sounds and effects
>>53959162
thats a fucking generic term for most metal
especially with as many sub genres as it has
no screams = not black metal
>>53959087
I don't care for Fantano the video is funny though and I just felt like posting it. Acoustic shoegaze is an oxymoron to me anyway if you're adding tons of effects it's not really acoustic anymore.
>Post-Pop
>Blackened Dream Pop (>inb4 blackgaze)
>Progressive Punk (>inb4 post punk)
some years ago i though that electro metal didn't exist
some days ago i thought trance metal didn't exist
they exist
>>53959215
>screams
It can be rather Death Metal or Black Metal.
>>53959162
Then Doom Metal is the same that Black Metal isn't it?
Black Metal is Black Metal because of many factors. Lyrics (anti-religion mostly, death metal with those lyrics is called blackened death metal), Guitar sound (raw), Drums (blast beat but with less hardcore punk influence), Bass (C# sometimes), and Voice.
The voice can be shown in many ways.
For instance, Mayhem and Emperor sound really different (well some people think of Emperor as a symphonic black metal band)
>>53959215
>what's heavy metal
