One synthwave track I like is The Shortwave Mystery-Pilots. The whole album is a nice hidden gem.
Love Spirals Downwards- Flux is a favorite of mine. Black tape for a Blue Girl is good too, edgy name aside.

Sisters of Mercy's Floodland is a nice mix between darkwave and goth rock. Other than that, check out Dead Can Dance's discography.
