>>53847344
What about Fishmans is a meme
Legitimately curious I just really enjoy the album and their music in general
>>53847399
>what makes a meme a meme
You didn't really grasped the concept of a meme, did you?
>>53847429
Guess not lol
Care to explain why it's considered a meme?
Buckley Live at Sin é
>ctrl + f

>>53847524

You are cool.
Totally breathes new life into the It's My Life songs. Tomorrow Started is up there with their best imo.
>>53847594
Hmm, don't remember it ever being spammed. Haven't seen many people talk about it here at all actually other than a few share threads on the archives, but eh. Still, it's a pretty good album imo, not like being spammed makes it any worse musically.
>>53847750
protip, you're being trolled. just ignore him
>no Live at the Fillmore East
smh
>>53848114
>not posting the superior Allman Brothers Band live recording
>>53846510
Holy shit, Down Through the Night has the best bassline ever.
What's the point of live albums?
>>53846780
Tattoo is my favorite live rendition... that's some awesome bass sound set up there.
>>53846667
Are you...DEAD??!
>>53846545
this is alright, but some of the rarer Dick's Picks live albums are better. Specifically volume 4
>>53848114
I cannot believe this isn't talked about more on this site... such unbelievable music.
>>53848166
let's be real here bud...
also my votes go to:
The Koln Concert- Keith Jarrett
Scabdates- The Mars Volta
At Fillmore East- The Allman Brothers Band
Live at the Regal- B.B. King
none of which ever get discussed here...
>>53848702
improvisation mostly
if it's for hearing the band doing studio stuff with crowd screams, none
>>53848702
whats the point of anything...
>>53848702
I love live albums for the fact that they somewhat capture the essence and spirit of being actually in the show. That, and usually the stage acoustics along with whatever instrument setup and sound mixing will definitely put a twist over the studio version, which makes or breaks the live album. Also, some artists like to put twists in their songs, like adding or taking away parts, stitching song medleys, or extended solos. Finally, I see live albums as a way to see a band's progression over years in their careers, even though they might be playing the same songs. For instance, a vocalists voice changes because of time and age, and the musicians' technical skills might have improved over time, where they can display it on a live album.
The two short tracks are studio, but what the hell...
