I don't know why people get so bent trying to program FM, it's not the 80s anymore there is so much info out on explaining how to. If it's really that hard just get an oscilloscope.

Yeah, I've only tried playing around with a dx7 once myself. Then I just freehanded it and didn't really get anywhere at all.

Digital has no warmth, no soul. It is inhuman, just a bunch of 1s and 0s, robot shit. Analog can make you feel things, you can connect to it on an emotional level. The continuous waveform links to humans understanding of the universe, and the way our brains (adn therefore ears) work. But not digital. Digital is just black and white, no shades of grey. The day digital synths take over (if they even do that) will be the day the humanity in music dies.
