Why do industrialfags from /mu/ believe that industrial music has to be devoid of groove and rhythmics? Do they honestly believe that industrial is just harsh noise? That if it's groovy it instantly turns into cybergoth-tier "hellektro"?

anyway post industrial music you can dance to.
Shit that goes "KLANG KLANG glonglonglonglong KLANG plannnng KLINKLINKLINKLINK KLONG GLANG" and not just "DZZZZZSSCCCHHHHHHKKKKRRRRRRRZZZZZZZZZZZKKRRRRRZZZZZZSSSHHHHHH"

/mu/ in general doesn't know shit about industrial and is only familiar with canon industrial, power electronics, and industrial techno. Whitehouse fuckery is the most bottlenecked and derivative style (besides aggrotech). In all its experimental-ness, it pretty much always sounds like bullshit. I'm a bit biased because I predominantly listen to electro-industrial, ebm, and industrial rock, but seriously. And I hope EBM doesnt become another dumb meme. Douglas McCarthy would be ashamed.

what do you think about the Young Gods?
>>
>>53719224
I've always thought they had interesting ideas and execution, but it never really did it for me. I still sort of enjoy listening to their music, its just not a keeper for me. The only album I heard that I didn't like was probably Second Nature.

...but, anon, industrial music can have a rhythm without being ebm or electro-industrial:

Do you seriously think that Der Eisenrost qualifies as EBM or electro-industrial? Or did you misread my post?
>>
>>53719581

No, I don't think it qualifies as ebm or electro-industrial. I was just stating that I think there is more rhythmic industrial without falling into those genres. That being said I don't really care for the song you posted. I don't like those douchey guitar riffs. No offense.

Well, that's because before the mid-80s that's kind of what industrial music was. I'm not really all that into first-wave industrial, but it kind of makes sense that a lot of first-wave industrial fans dislike second-wave industrial and loathe third-wave industrial. It's not like the typical "tr00" mentality in other genres because in this case there really is a clear difference. I can respect their choice not to associate themselves with things like industrial rock or electro-industrial.

That said, have some dancy KLANGKLANGcore.
