Ok I'm not much of a shit talker or a mass media follower, but I was watching some interviews with Kanye last night trying to figure out why his fans hold such a high opinion of him, and in particular, his intelligence.
What I found out was that this guy is delusional and weird af (not in a good or artsy way, but as a "something is mising in this guy" sorta thing), but does not seem smart, maybe a bit smarter than the average nig nog, but not exceptionally intelligent by any means.
So, if his music is shit and his personality is shit, why do I hear about him on this board so much?
This is coming from someone who does like NMH and Death Grips (rarely, but still), but I just can't find the appeal in Kanye's music and this isn't helped at all now that I know the guy behind it is a fucking retard.
