I have! Enjoyed it a lot. I've only given it one listen through so far though, so I can't really coherently talk about it. But I just loved the improvisatory nature of it.
I picked up the taste from my dad and its a pretty good album mostly instrumental

i love elliot smith & see the similarities but (i dont mean this in a bad way) alex g feels a lot rougher round the edges which is exciting to listen to because you can clearly hear him pushing himself into different directions on each release. god knows what kind of level shit he'll be putting out in five years time.

yea, I totally agree. I personally enjoy Alex G a lot more than Elliott, but there are some obvious influences. And yea, super excited to see where he goes after DSU (which is my favorite by him).
