Actual question, how do you get your mixes to sound that loud on SC? My latest remix was mastered correctly and sounds fine in the .mp3 file but SC takes off at least 0.5 db.

hey, thanks for your kind words. the next remix of that track (which will be put on physical version of our ep/demo) will be kinda reconstructed in terms of rhythm part (we found our drums kinda repetitive too)
talking about mix sounding loud on sc. hmm - I don't do anything special, I just add a little bit of Vintage Warmer 2 on my master track (my settings are based on one of the presets - depending on actual character of my track, mostly I just give a little bit of low boost (usually I set them in between 70-100 hz), leave highs alone, I also often add some gain - 4-8db. After that I just add my tape sim (nomad factory magnetic 2 on atr-102 settings, no boost - since it already comes from VW2 ive previously mentioned, 15-25% saturation, set lows to setting "warm", highs to setting "focus" - and thats it tbh.
if you use ableton I can send u my template-project for mastering (plugins used - izotope vinyl, magnetic 2, vintage warmer 2 - just send me PM on cloud
